Eight of us came here for lunch on Saturday and everything was delicious. I ordered the brisket grilled cheese and it came with fries and coleslaw. The brisket was actually very flavorful. It had a smoky flavor and I really enjoyed it. My cousin and his wife really liked it also. Two people had the chicken tenders they were big and delicious. My fiancé and grandma ordered the turkey avocado club and loved it. My dad liked his burger. Service was great. The younger guy was really friendly and helpful. We sat in the room with the fireplace and would definitely return.

Good food, very busy for 2pm Sunday. Old saloon look on the inside. Had the loaded potato skins for an appetizer and the grilled chicken sandwich with coleslaw for the entree. Wife had the ribeye steak with asparagus and house-made French fries. Kid enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich. Mixed fruit was just canned fruit cocktail, so maybe skip that side. Would come back when in the area.

After a long day of hiking, their food really hit the spot. My husband ordered salmon.... but what he got was a white fish, so maybe the kitchen messed up? Either way, he said his food was delicious. I had the chicken oscar. It was very fresh, tasty, and a good size portion to feed a hungry hiker. My kids had the mini corndogs and grilled cheese. Good fries. Fast and friendly service and it's so nice that you can site outside. Downtown Utica is super cute and homey. I loved it and plan to return. This vacation was exactly what we needed.

Omg, this is Big City service in a small town! We have been coming here for over 5 year & love this place! The food is amazing & pairs well with any wine! We are used to Chicago service & this is the only place in Utica that delivers it! The fish is amazing whether you get gluten-free or fried! The wine menu pairs well with the food as well! Thank you so much to Canal Port for 5 star service!

This was the only restaurant/bar on the block that actually had a server that greeted us outside warmly, asked if we wanted to view the menu and welcomed us in rather than the two across the street that huffed at us rudely or ignored us altogether. Our service was outstanding and the place was very clean and comfortably air conditioned. Even though not listed on the menu our server said they did have gluten free bread which was a nice surprise and stopped me ordering yet another salad which is usually the only safe offering for me in a bar and grill type place. My burger was perfectly cooked and the gf bun was tender and toasty. My husband enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich and an ice cold craft brew. Thanks for inviting us in!

Located in the Mill Street Patio area of North Utica,Canal Port is housed in an old school pub with original tin ceilings and a wood crafted bar. Serving lunch and dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. We stopped in for a late lunch midweek and it was not crowded at all. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside and enjoyed the relaxed feel. They offer a nice selection of craft beers along with sandwiches, salads and homemade soups. For dinner they serve steaks, seafood and pork chops. Expect to wait for your food to be served as everything is made to order. I had Monterrey Chicken sandwich which I ordered fried topped with bacon, Monterrey Jack cheese and Parmesan ranch dressing. You can also get the chicken grilled. Comes with fries, slaw or bar chips. The sandwich was a good portion and reasonably priced. My wife had the burger on a gluten free bun which they only charged her 1.00 extra for. We were both satisfied with our selections and would definitely suggest going here for lunch instead of eating within Starved Rock State Park.

Huge portion of fried chicken breast with wild rice a ton of asparagus with eoldrice and bernaise sauce. Split entree and crab cakes and had leftovers. Chicken breast was nice wild rice pretty good. Asparagus helped balance the stainless of bernaise sauce. Lots of chunks of crab. Think it was canned a lot of salt. Put some fresh lemon on it helped balance the flavors. Great idea good ingredient was just missing something. A little to much salt. Great prices

BEST SERVICE EVER from Collin. So good that we gave him a round of applause and embarrassed him. Really chill atmosphere. We had a reservation for 1:30pm on a Sunday in a comfy dining area with NFL on the TVs. Really impressed with the food and how fast everything was. I got the veggie burger with Monterey Jack cheese and a side of skinny fries, so good. Bathrooms super clean. All wait staff were very friendly. Everyone was very happy. They also didn't mind us bringing in cupcakes as it was a celebration for two of our relatives. Definitely will be back.
